PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per day, with Saturday and Sunday required; flexible scheduling for the 3rd and 4th day
• Hours are flexible
• Inpatient acute care setting
• Cover throughout the hospital including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical units; ICU coverage may be included with option to manage general floors only
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting required
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; those licensed prior to 2016 are exempt under prior licensure requirements
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills required including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, and formulate treatment plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail required
