Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Primarily care for a mix of Medical Surgical Telemetry and PCU patients
• Patient ratios are 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Float as needed within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit census of 30 patients with 35 beds across 32 rooms
• Manage possible drips including Heparin (per protocol), Bumex, Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone (per protocol), and Dopamine - no insulin drips, hypoglycemic/insulin protocols used
• Perform skills including cardiac telemetry monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Utilize Cerner charting system (experience preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
• Two pre-approved days off allowed per contract
