About this role
Join Sutter Health Amador Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our 10-bed Infusion unit. You'll deliver direct patient care in a structured, supportive environment where your clinical skills make a real difference for patients managing chronic and acute conditions.
Schedule & Hours
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Option to work 4 days per week if preferred
- Block scheduling with 1 to 2 weekend hours per month as needed
The Role
You'll manage a patient ratio of 3 patients per shift in a unit with daily census of 18 to 24 patients. Your responsibilities include dressing changes, vital signs, venipuncture and phlebotomy, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, and intravenous infusions. You'll interpret laboratory results and provide oncology care for patients with iron deficiency anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, immune deficiencies, chronic infections requiring IV antibiotics, dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and oncology-related diagnoses.
You'll administer biologic therapies, hydration, immunotherapy, injections, and supportive treatments. The unit offers 24 hours of orientation to support your transition into this role.
What You Bring
- Current California RN license with valid Nursys verification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and OCN certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Previous charge experience preferred
Support & Resources
You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team including IV specialists, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to ensure coordinated patient care.
Compensation & Duration
Weekly pay is $2,341. This is a 91-day assignment beginning September 28, 2026.
