PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 4x10 schedule
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of Pre-Op Admission experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong IV skills preferred, with possible use of ultrasound IV guidance
• Patient ratio of 3:1 with patients ranging from 6 months to geriatric age
• Float to sister units as needed, including Pre-Op Primary Main and On-Campus surgery center as case volumes shift
• Hours may be flexed based on unit needs
• OR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and VA State License
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Attire must adhere to facility dress code policy
