Cath Lab Technologist Job in Gettysburg, PA

WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 days at a weekly rate of $3,064.90, with a start date of September 7, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, treating adult patient populations with approximately 4 patient visits per day. Your responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating procedures while maintaining sterile field and technique, setting up and maintaining specialized equipment, and stocking supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and upper and lower extremity angiography
• Assist with pacemaker insertion, permanent pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
• Perform and assist with electrophysiology lab procedures and basic EP device implants
• Operate specialized equipment including Shockwave, IABP, Impella, Rampart (lead-free procedures), Philips Allura fluoroscopy, MacLab, IVUS, and ACIST
• Perform EKG lead placement and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and accurate patient monitoring
• Assist with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
• Perform cardioversion and thrombolysis/thrombectomy procedures
• Utilize PACS and Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Prep access sites and maintain equipment inventory

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS (AHA or ARC only)

Schedule & Commitment

Call rotation required on weekends and overnight as needed, approximately 12 days per month and 1–2 weekends per month. Holiday coverage as needed. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract. No floating required.
