CCU RN Job in Nashville, TN

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience
• 4-week scheduling periods with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit located in the Main Tower
• Float as needed to other units depending on census
• Advanced skills required: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP; Impella; CRRT preferred
• Procedures performed on unit include central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Equipment used includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Student nurse externs available as techs and unit secretary available Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs; scrub jackets or vests only
