Interventional Radiology RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as an RN in the Interventional Radiology department at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. This 13-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to support interventional radiologists and patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IR suite, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure monitoring
• Assist with patient positioning, sedation monitoring, and comfort measures during procedures
• Maintain sterile field and support procedural workflow
• Document patient care and procedure-related observations
• Respond to patient needs and communicate with the clinical team

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Three 12-hour days per week, starting at 7:30 a.m.
• On-call responsibilities apply, including weekends and holidays
• Weekly pay: $2,702.70
• Assignment length: 90 days
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Required Credentials

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
