RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Minimum of 18 months RN experience required, 2 years preferred
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• On-call requirement during evenings and weekends
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Block schedule not available
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Proficiency required with Balloon pump, Impella, and Atherectomy devices
• Proficiency required with cardiac medication drips and emergency medications
• STEMI experience required
• Required skills include: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Interventional Catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Right Heart Catheterization, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
• Charting system experience required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized and completed prior to start date
