RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• On-call required as needed
• No weekend requirements
• No floating within scope required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Circulate and conscious sedation skills required
• Cerner EMR charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Florida license or compact license required
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census: 6-20 patients
• 3 procedure rooms
• 20 orientation hours
• Patient diagnoses include: Coronary Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Valvular Disease, STEMI/NSTEMI, and Unstable Angina
• Special procedures include: Cardiac Cath, High Risk PCI, Peripheral Interventions, Carotid Stents, Research, and workup for TAVR/Mitraclip
• Special equipment experience required: Impella, Shockwave, Rotoblator, CSI, IABP, and Laser
• Required skills include: Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Stenting, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, IABP Placement/Removal, Interventional Catheterizations, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, and Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
