Operating Room RN Job in Honolulu, HI

Queen's Medical Center – Manamana in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 16-week travel assignment. You will work a rotating shift schedule of 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total) providing direct surgical care across multiple specialties.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating RN in the operating room, with scrub experience preferred
• Provide surgical care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
• Support cases in General Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedics, and Urology (including Cystoscopies, Ureteroscopies, PCNLs, and ESWL)
• Assist with preferred specialty cases including GYN, ENT, Neuro, Cardiac, and Robotic Surgery (DaVinci)
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment including anesthesia machines, monitoring systems, suction, medical gases, airway equipment, cautery, heating and cooling devices, and code carts with adult and pediatric paddles
• Float to other clinical areas within your skill set as operational needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license
• Two or more years of full-time OR RN experience prior to travel assignments
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• ASN or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Circulating experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience
• Experience at a comparable facility (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center)

Assignment Details

Contract duration is 16 weeks, with a start date of August 3, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,750. Requested time off during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days (Wednesday through Wednesday). All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout the contract period.
