Operating Room RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a travel assignment. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours during day hours, with a contract duration of 154 days beginning September 21, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,043.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Must have documented experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures
• Valid Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room with 1:1 patient ratios
• Float within facility and to Outpatient areas as needed
• Support surgical service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Perform specialized surgical procedures including craniotomy, solid organ transplant, total joint replacement, laminectomy, discectomy, lumbar fusion, and laparoscopic procedures
• Participate in variable weekend and on-call schedules to be discussed during interview
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations

Additional Information:

• Maximum of 7 days pre-approved time off per contract
• No holiday time off approved November 23–29 and December 21–January 3
• Community hospital and trauma experience preferred
