Med Surg RN Float Pool Job in Lebanon, NH

You will join the resource float pool at D-H Medical Center as a registered nurse supporting Med Surg units. This is a day shift position with flexible scheduling options: 5x8, or alternatives including 12- and 16-hour shifts. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week for an 89-week assignment starting July 6, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients across multiple Med Surg units based on daily staffing needs
• Assess patient health status, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including IV medications and tube feedings
• Perform light wound care and other clinical skills as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, and pain management specialists
• Document all patient care activities in the PCC (Point Click Care) electronic medical record system
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and support personnel

What You Bring

• Current RN license with compact licensure eligibility
• Proficiency in standard Med Surg nursing practices
• Experience with IV skills, medication administration, and tube feeding management
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients and adapt to changing unit assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and point-of-care technology

You will receive $2,482 weekly. A compact license is required for this role. This position offers you the flexibility to work varied shift lengths while maintaining consistent weekly hours and supporting multiple patient care areas within the Med Surg service line.
