Med Surg RN Job in Nashua, NH

St Joseph Hospital - Nashua is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing with rotating shifts. You will earn $2,665 weekly, with a start date of August 10, 2026.

Role Overview

Your primary position will be in the Rehab unit with the possibility of floating to Med-Surg if not needed in Rehab. You will render professional nursing care to patients within your assigned unit, provide comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift, and communicate patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding using AIDET principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles
• Monitor and remain up to date with unit-based nurse sensitive indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, FALLS, HH, and VAE
• Actively participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts
• Collaborate with nurses in other departments and units to draw upon clinical expertise
• Effectively delegate aspects of care and unit activities to other nursing personnel
• Serve as preceptor for new nurses when needed

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation

Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract may be cancelled.
