CVOR RN Job in Margate, FL

You will work as an RN in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida. This is a day shift position running 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with no night shift available. The assignment is 91 days, beginning September 28, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,630.

About the Role

You will care for patients in a 2-room CVOR unit alongside 1 surgical tech per shift. Your patient ratio is 1:1. You must be able to scrub and demonstrate proficiency across all surgical service lines. You will assist with procedures including joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery. You will function in all surgical specialties, including robotics, orthopedic, spine, and gynecologic cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser for lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfuser
• Document in the Meditech system
• Demonstrate proficiency as a charter, multitasker, and critical thinker with excellent bedside manner

Schedule and Requirements

Day shift only. Rotating weekends are a possibility. On-call requirements are split and dependent on staffing needs. OR scrubs are provided by the unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
