ICU Registered Nurse Job in Lawrenceville, GA

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 20-bed Cardiac Care ICU. You will provide direct patient care in a highly specialized environment serving post-operative cardiac patients requiring open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery care.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Duration: 89 days
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,881.91
• Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Your Responsibilities:

You will monitor and care for critically ill cardiac patients, manage specialized equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers. Your clinical judgment and technical skills will directly impact patient outcomes in this fast-paced critical care setting.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in ICU or cardiac nursing
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
• Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS

Scheduling Requirements:

• Variable schedule with holiday obligations
• Must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Must work 1 of the following minor holidays: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
