Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Team scheduling with weekend requirements: every other weekend for nights
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Float to different areas throughout the hospital in the RT capacity
• 3 shifts of 12-hour orientation provided
• Treat patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics
• Cover all inpatient areas and floors
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
• Work with respiratory equipment including ventilators (Drager, Servo I, Carefusion), BiPAPs (Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T), and high flow (Airvo2)
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7 with a Lead Therapist on each shift
• Will not be the only RT in-house
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC; NRP and PALS preferred
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care
• Valid driver's license required at submittal
