Job Details:

• Weekend only schedule - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Variable call shifts on weekend shifts only
• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel
• Travel experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Hard stop requirements: Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics experience required
• Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• No holiday RTO will be approved - blackout dates: 11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3
• Orientation hours: 36 hours
• Required charting system: Epic
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• GA or Compact nursing license required
• Required skills include: Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy, Craniotomy, Transplant procedures, Total joint replacement, Lumbar fusion, Laparoscopic procedures, and additional general, neuro, and ortho surgical procedures
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
