Respiratory Therapist Job in Painesville, OH

You will work as a Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery at Cleveland Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 31, 2026, on a 3x12 night shift schedule at $1,930.50 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide respiratory care for mothers in the postpartum period and infants in the specialty care nursery
• Cover deliveries and support high-risk delivery situations
• Administer surfactant following NRP protocol
• Perform suctioning, manual ventilation, and intubation assist procedures
• Conduct T-piece ventilation and intubation procedures
• Perform blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Administer medicated aerosol therapy using small volume nebulizers
• Provide humidified therapy including heated humidity delivery
• Apply aerosol masks, nasal cannula, and oxygen masks as ordered
• Utilize medication carts and Omnicell bar coding medication administration systems
• Provide patient education for aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy techniques
• Demonstrate proficiency in DPI, MDI, and holding chamber techniques

Requirements: You must hold a current RRT credential and NRP certification. Your Allied Health Professional degree and respiratory therapy background position you to deliver skilled care in this specialized neonatal environment.
