Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work as a Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist in Level 2 Special Care Nursery<br>• Cover deliveries and provide respiratory care for mothers in post partum and infants in specialty care nursery<br>• Perform medicated aerosol therapy using small volume nebulizers<br>• Provide patient education for aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy<br>• Utilize medication carts, Omnicell bar coding medication administration<br>• Perform suctioning, manual ventilation, and intubation assist procedures<br>• Provide assisted ventilation and high risk delivery support<br>• Administer surfactant following NRP protocol<br>• Perform T-piece ventilation and intubation procedures<br>• Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation<br>• Provide humidified therapy including heated humidity<br>• Use aerosol masks, nasal cannula, and oxygen masks<br>• Must be proficient in DPI, MDI, and holding chamber techniques</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center features a specialized Level 2 Special Care Nursery that provides comprehensive respiratory care for newborns and mothers.
