Respiratory Therapist Job in Cleveland, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $1,930.50 weekly.

As an Allied Health Professional Respiratory Therapist, you will provide specialized respiratory care across multiple pediatric and neonatal units, including Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Cardiac ICU, Trach/vent unit, Emergency Room, and General Respiratory Care areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medicated aerosol therapy using small volume nebulizers, breath actuated nebulizers, and vibrating mesh nebulizers
• Providing patient education on aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy techniques
• Managing medication administration including pentamidine and Omnicell systems
• Conducting airway clearance therapy—clapping, vibration, directed cough, and positive expiratory pressure treatments
• Managing hyperinflation therapy, high frequency chest wall oscillation, and intermittent percussive ventilation
• Performing airway management: suctioning, tracheostomy care, manual ventilation, and intubation assistance
• Operating mechanical ventilation systems, CPAP, BiPAP, NIMV, and negative pressure ventilation
• Supporting high-risk delivery situations including surfactant administration and NRP protocol execution
• Conducting blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Providing humidity therapy and implementing clinical practice guidelines for asthma, CF, RDS, and BPD prevention
• Monitoring patients using pulse oximetry, peak flow meters, capnography, and transcutaneous CO2 monitoring
• Participating in transport services including HFNC portable units and MRI internal transport

You will collaborate daily with attending physicians, fellows, APPs, PAs, NPs, hospitalists, residents, nursing staff, and other clinical disciplines to deliver coordinated patient care.
