Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (22:00–07:00)
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4x12-hour shifts, or 40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week period
• On-call requirement: 5-6 night shifts per 6-week period (22:00–07:00)
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Float required within Medical/Surgical Telemetry scope to meet facility needs
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients with stays of 24-48 hours
• Manage varied medical diagnoses with occasional overflow surgical patients; no medication drips
• Must have strong telemetry experience and ability to function autonomously
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias using telemetry monitoring
• Utilize interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and transportation
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred but not required)
• Scrub color: Any color scrubs, no jean material
• Parking is free in unrestricted spaces or in the lot across the street from the hospital
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers must have 2-3 years of experience and Epic or Cerner experience
• Valid Massachusetts state license required at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Finalized RTO must be included with submission; no RTO will be added after signing
• Block scheduling availability determined by unit needs
