OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Job Details:

• 5-day, 8-hour shifts with flexibility to consider 4-day, 10-hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays are part of the rotation with every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within facility scope of practice to outpatient setting as needed
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required skills include: orthopedics, dynamic splints, functional splints, static splints, amputee care, upper and lower extremity, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, and other progressive neurological disorders
• Additional skills include: adaptive equipment assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, hip fracture and total hip replacement, knee injuries and total knee replacement, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, plan of care, reassessments, safety and injury prevention, and soft tissue injuries
• Charting experience required; Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• LTAC experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, GA State License
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
