Med Surg RN Job in Lonetree, CO

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge CO is seeking an RN for a travel assignment on a 44-bed orthopedic unit located on the 4th floor. You will work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a patient ratio of 1:5, maximum 1:6
• Manage equipment including mobility lifts, chest tubes, Hemavac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA pumps, and Foley catheters
• Perform drain removal and collaborate with the infusion team on PICC line placements
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Support night shift census-dependent staffing aligned with day shift structure

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital orthopedic experience
• BLS certification
• Orthopedic or trauma background preferred; medical/surgical experience also accepted
• Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teamwork
