CVICU RN Job in Fort Worth, TX

You'll work as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Medical City Fort Worth. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Two weekend shifts required biweekly
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,831

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz catheter management, and arterial line procedures
• Manage chest tubes and mechanical ventilators
• Monitor patients using GE monitors, EV 1000, and Hemispheres systems
• Support continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and Impella device management
• May float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or equivalent critical care specialty)
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management and arterial/central line/chest tube handling
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

• CVICU-specific experience, including CABG recovery
• CRRT and Impella experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CCRN certification
