ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Option for 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedules
• Call required - if placed on call, must arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in
• No blocked schedule - no exceptions
• No holiday or holiday week time off requests will be approved
• Must be willing to float to all 3 campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion) as needed
• Minimum 2 years of recent and continuous ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Cardiac experience preferred, including post cath intervention, balloon pump, and Impella
• Ohio or compact nursing license required - pending licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required skills include: management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care and management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, suctioning (ETT, NT), isolation precautions and PPE, CVICU, central venous pressure monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, interpretation of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac cath and intervention, and sheath removal
• Rapid response team interdisciplinary support available
