Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking an RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a travel position offering 88 weeks of work on a 4x10 days schedule at $2,701 per week, with a start date of September 8, 2026.

Role Overview

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures in accordance with professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments—physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural—while identifying discharge planning needs. You will review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You will formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and the medical plan of care. You will delegate and supervise activities of health care team members, including licensed nurses and other personnel. Evaluation of patient and family response to care and teaching is essential, with plan revision as needed. All assessments, interventions, and responses must be documented legibly and in a timely manner. You will provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership activities.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Wyoming
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• WY DFS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience scrubbing in the Cath Lab
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the specialty
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Teal scrubs required

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and professional certification in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing.
