About this role
Wyoming Medical Center Central is seeking an RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 4x10 day shift role with an 89-week assignment starting August 24, 2026. You will earn $2,718 weekly.
About the Role
You will provide direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization setting, performing assessments, planning individualized care, and implementing evidence-based nursing interventions. Your responsibilities include:
- Assess patients across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning dimensions
- Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and care team members
- Formulate and implement individualized plans of care aligned with medical orders and patient-specific needs
- Delegate and supervise licensed nurses and other healthcare team members
- Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses in a legible and timely manner
- Maintain clinical competencies and participate in shared leadership activities
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- WY DFS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience; specialty area experience within the past 12 months required
- Experience scrubbing in the cath lab
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Exposure to blood and bodily fluids; standard precautions required
- Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
Work Environment
You will wear teal scrubs and work in a fast-paced cardiac intervention environment. The position offers a varied work schedule with 4-day work weeks and 10-hour shifts.
