Physical Therapist Job in Richmond, VA

You'll work as a Physical Therapist at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 4x10 schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

About the Role

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation services with a patient ratio of 4:1
• Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuro re-education, neuromuscular re-education, and functional electrical stimulation
• Conduct stroke evaluation and treatment
• Support functional activities and self-care goals
• Collaborate with a team of 10 OT/PT therapists, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
• Float to the acute hospital setting when rehabilitation census is low
• Use AIDET communication standards and implement immediate service recovery practices

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required

Work Environment

• Documentation via Meditech Expanse
• Equipment includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego devices
• Dress code: Black scrub bottoms and royal blue top preferred

Compensation and Timeline

Weekly pay is $2,044. Your assignment starts June 29, 2026, and runs for 91 days.
