Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• No weekends required
• On-call required: 1 weekend every 6 weeks and 4-6 weekdays every 6 weeks
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color or facility-branded T-shirts/jackets
• Surgical specialties include: Neuro, Ortho, Plastics, Eyes, GU/GI, ENT, General, GYN, Spine, and Dental
• No cardiac, vascular, or thoracic cases for travel nurses
• General, GU, ENT, and Plastics call team participation required
• In-house team operates 24/7
• May float to all pediatric medical-surgical units and may float to ICU as RN Assist
• Patient age groups include: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, and Pediatrics
• Required skills: Administration of blood and blood products, Ambulatory OR, Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, General OR, Infection control, Pediatric CVOR, Pediatric General OR, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Specimen handling/labeling, Trauma, Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure, Scrub, and Circulate
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
