OR RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital St Louis is seeking an RN for their Operating Room. This is a travel position running 91 days, with a start date of August 31, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work day shift on a 4x10 schedule. Hours are variable based on scheduled surgeries, with 36 weekly guaranteed hours. Weekend hours are required as needed, and you will rotate call per unit protocol.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Work effectively in a rapid-paced OR environment and navigate multiple computer systems
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver quality care in the operating setting
• Collaborate well in a team environment and work independently as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of OR nursing experience
• Demonstrated expertise in robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $1,949. Black scrubs are provided by the facility. This position offers you the opportunity to practice in a structured OR environment while maintaining the flexibility of a travel role.
