Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float pool position covering multiple units including General MS-Tele and various specialties such as Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Obs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• 6-9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Schedule is made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time; travelers are expected to be flexible to help fill gaps in permanent scheduling
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
• May be asked to float into other acuity levels including ICU (low acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
• Rare on-call or standby requirement for low census situations
• 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor
• Nurse aides available on unit
• RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP utilized on unit
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• Designated charge nurse on each unit who does not typically take a patient assignment
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Any color
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Colorado nursing license required
• Must be within a 60-mile radius; valid driver's license must be submitted
• BSN not required
