RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 8-hour PM shifts with no weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation required with groupings to be determined
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• May float to other Memorial Hospital locations and like units as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements
• 53-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:7-8 possible
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips required
• Must be able to read telemetry
• Short-term acute care hospital experience required
• EPIC charting experience required within last 12 months
• Minimum 3-5 years of Med Surg experience required
• At least 1 completed traveler contract preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, WI or Compact RN license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any scrub color permitted
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
