CVOR RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR). You will work 3x12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with no on-call requirements. This is a 91-day assignment beginning October 12, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,540.16.

Role Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiothoracic and vascular cases including Adult Heart and Lung Transplant, Type A Dissections, CABG, Valves, TAVRs, AAA, Diagnostic Lap, Exploratory Lap, EVARs, TEVARs, and FEVARs
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• May assist with holiday coverage as needed, including one major holiday either on-call or in-house

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• Scrubbing Cardiac and Vascular cases highly preferred
• Current South Carolina or multi-state RN license in hand at contract start
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• First-time travelers not preferred

Service lines include Adult Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular, Bariatric, Panc/Bili, Colorectal, Plastics, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and MIS with 5 Da Vinci systems available.
