Med Surg RN Job in Nacogdoches, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Nacogdoches Medical Center – South Campus. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning September 15, 2026.

About the Role

You will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for your assigned patients on a per-shift basis. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on nursing care and monitoring patient status throughout your 12-hour shifts
• Supervising clinical staff and delegating appropriate tasks to support safe patient care
• Collaborating with facility nursing leadership to maintain high-quality, safe standards of care
• Ensuring your team meets competency standards and manages resources effectively
• Taking accountability for unit-level clinical outcomes and patient safety

Assignment Details

This position runs for 91 days with 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM. You will be based at Nacogdoches Medical Center – South Campus in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Compensation

You will earn $1,762.56 per week. As a travel nurse, you will also receive typical staffing agency benefits including housing support or stipends, travel reimbursement, and access to continuing education.
