Med Surg RN Job in Arlington, TX

You will work as an RN on the Medical City Arlington Med Surg Neuro unit, caring for patients across a 6:1 ratio on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 15, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $1,801
• On-call rotation required
• No floating requirement

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Med Surg Neuro unit
• Perform EEGs, EKGs, and bladder scanning
• Operate Sara Steady equipment
• Document and coordinate care through Meditech electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with a night shift team of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Techs

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• 3 or more years of nursing experience preferred
• Significant experience in neurology specialty preferred, particularly stroke care

You will join an established night shift team at a 600-bed medical center. The unit structure provides consistent staffing and defined patient ratios, allowing you to focus on quality care delivery without floating across multiple units.
