Med Surg RN Job in Arlington, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment at Medical City Arlington. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 31-bed Oncology Med Surg unit, providing direct patient care and clinical support.

Shift & Compensation

• Schedule: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Weekly pay: $1,801
• Start date: September 15, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• General med surg procedures and post-operative care
• Chemotherapy administration and neutropenia precautions
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and hospice care
• Standard med surg equipment operation, including traction equipment
• May float to other med surg units as needed

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Post-surgical care experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Oncology or med surg certification preferred but not required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Facility Information

Medical City Arlington is a full-service acute-care hospital. The oncology med surg unit uses Meditech for electronic health records and standard hospital equipment.

Appearance Standards

• Royal Blue scrubs for RNs
• No artificial, gel, or next gen nails
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
