Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 24 months of experience in Med Surg or Med Surg Tele required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Recent or current charge nurse experience required
• Care for all types of Med Surg patients including overflow of post-operative surgical hips and knees
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1 on a 24-bed unit
• Administer heparin drips
• Remote tele tech unit monitoring
• Required to float across all campuses
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend schedule: every other or every third weekend depending on staffing and census
• No blocked shifts
• 8, 10, or 13 week contracts offered with preference for candidates willing to extend past initial contract
• First-time travelers accepted
• Dress code: solid navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
