Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for their Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - NICU unit in Charleston, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,319
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Current CRT certification
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• NBRC certification and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at start date
• Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required
• Skills in bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU care, and pediatric critical care

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Trauma Level I facility experience

Assignment Details

• Work within Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - NICU
• Floating within scope may be required depending on experience; no floating to sister facilities
• Patient populations include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
• 72 orientation hours required
• Block scheduling requires prior approval and is not guaranteed
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
