Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required and holiday rotation participation.

Your Role

You will provide respiratory therapy services across Pediatrics, NICU Level 4, and Pediatric Cardiac units, caring for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. Your responsibilities include performing bronchoscopy, extubation, and pediatric critical care procedures. You may float within scope to meet facility needs based on your experience level. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current RRT certification and NBRC credential
• South Carolina RCP license (must be in hand at start date)
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years pediatric, neonate, and infant experience (3 years preferred)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,306.88. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Parking passes are available for a one-time $20 payment and apply to night and weekend shifts only. Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.
