Respiratory Therapist Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week on a 12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

About the Role

You will provide respiratory care across pediatric specialty areas, including Pediatrics, NICU Level 4, and Pediatric Cardiac units. Your patient population will include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. You may float within your scope of practice depending on experience, but you will not float to sister facilities. Floating is within scope and may be required.

Scheduling

• 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
• 72 hours of orientation provided

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NBRC certification and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license—license must be in hand at time of start
• Minimum 2–3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required
• Skills in bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU care, and pediatric critical care

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Trauma Level I experience

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,306.88. Assignment start date is September 21, 2026, for a 91-day duration. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. This is an Allied Health Professional position with ADEX Healthcare Staffing.
