Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on the Medical/Surgical unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three days per week, with a weekly pay of $1,708.20.

Unit Details

• Located on the 5th floor (5 Central/Med/Onc unit) within the main hospital building
• 30-bed unit with nursing staff of 53
• Day and night shift staffing of 4–6 RNs depending on census
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Patient assignments estimated between 1:1 and 3:1 (not guaranteed)

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit, working with remote telemetry equipment and the Meditech EMR system. Your responsibilities include performing and assisting with procedures such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management of patients. You will be expected to work confidently both independently and with minimal RN support on the unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care Med/Surg experience (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Surgical and medical experience (preferred)
• Mom/baby experience with NRP (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Outgoing personality with a can-do attitude

This assignment begins August 24, 2026. Candidates without Med/Surg experience will not be considered.
