CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call required
• Both X-ray and CT technologist skills required
• Two techs are staffed on this shift covering X-ray and CT for the ED and inpatients
• Some patient transport involved to and from the ED
• Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions during shift hours
• Facility operates as a primary stroke center
• Charting system: Epic - Radiant (minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required)
• Perfect Serve secure paging used to communicate with radiologists
• Float to X-ray as needed; floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field required; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and SC Radiology license
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Key skills include: CT abdomen/chest/head with and without contrast, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular chest imaging, radiation safety, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE
