CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation required among staff members Monday through Sunday
• Monday through Thursday call hours are 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Weekend call begins at 3:30 PM on Friday and ends at 6:00 AM on Monday
• On-call shifts occur approximately every 4-5 weeks, not every week
• Perform high-quality CT examinations on patient populations ranging from newborn through geriatrics
• Perform inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient imaging as well as scheduled interventional cases (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday only)
• Required skills include starting IVs, contrast administration, biopsies, and PACS system operation
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Charting system: Epic
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) registration required
• State license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses not accepted
