CT Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM to 8:30 PM) on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with no on-call requirements.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging for abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies
• Execute advanced CT procedures including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, and colonography
• Operate Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7) equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts
• Float throughout all buildings as needed to meet facility demands
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current South Carolina license (RQSA) at time of start—pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and ARRT RT (R)(CT) certifications
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• IR/Angio/special procedures experience preferred, including biopsies and drainage

Assignment Details:

• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,490
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 40 orientation hours required
• Holiday rotation required
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Parking available nights and weekends only; one-time $20 pass fee
• Radiation badge supplied by agency
