CT Technologist PET/CT Tech Job in Rochester, NY

URMC UR Imaging @ River Rd is seeking a CT Technologist with PET/CT experience for a travel position in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and a straightforward schedule.

Schedule & Duration

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Choice of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• No weekends, no call, no holidays
• 131-day assignment starting August 31, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,432

Your Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders
• Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and imaging exams
• Position patients and perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Apply appropriate imaging techniques based on patient age and ability
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy per scope and standards
• Analyze image quality, identify issues, and take corrective action
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status
• Maintain inventory of Clinical Nuclear Medicine room supplies

Required Qualifications

• CT certification with PET/CT experience
• ARRT CT, NNMTCB CT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RT with NM certification by ARRT
• New York State License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Tech and CT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
