CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging department. You'll work a Monday-Wednesday schedule, 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week with no on-call responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, emergency room patients, and research patients
• Utilize CT technology to create diagnostic images in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Work with trauma patients, emergency patients, stable inpatients, and intensive care patients
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• High school diploma or equivalent
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification

This is an entry-level position. Experience is not required. You will have the opportunity to support teaching initiatives and continue learning as technology advances within our academic medical center setting.

Assignment Details: 91-day travel assignment beginning May 19, 2026. Weekly compensation: $2,890.80.
