CT Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a 12-week position beginning November 16, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• On-call requirement of 2–3 shifts per month
• Holiday shifts required per unit needs

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,346.20

Your Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans in accordance with department policy
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components within EPIC and ensuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• NYS licensure with injection therapy certification stated on license at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Telemetry experience
• Minimum 6 months of Siemens scanner experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient and compassionate disposition
• Ability to maintain a cohesive team working environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience (1 year preferred)
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment
• Willingness to complete injection certification during orientation if not already obtained
