CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Albany Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 31, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM (4x10 evenings)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $3,128

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT-guided procedures
• Execute trauma and emergency room scanning alongside routine CT exams
• Create diagnostic images using CT modality while maintaining patient safety and positive experience
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and continue learning as CT technology evolves

Required Credentials and Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York
• Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
