CT Technologist PET/CT Tech Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist with PET/CT experience for a travel position at URMC UR Imaging @ River Rd in Rochester, NY. This is an 89-day assignment starting October 26, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,997.

Role Overview

You will perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures, working Monday through Friday on a day shift basis. Shifts are either 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, with no weekends, call, or holidays required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Position patients appropriately and perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Apply proper imaging techniques based on patient age and ability to understand instructions
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy according to applicable scope and standards of practice
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking corrective action as needed
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols
• Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to any changes in status
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

Required Qualifications

• ARRT CT, NNMTCB CT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RT with NM certification by ARRT
• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine and CT technician experience
• New York State License
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• CT certification with PET/CT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
