CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join its imaging team on a 91-day travel assignment. You will perform CT scans and produce diagnostic images for outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and those undergoing specialized CT scan-guided procedures in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform CT exams on stable patients and those receiving intensive care
• Support trauma and emergency room scanning in a fast-paced environment
• Create high-quality diagnostic images for clinical and research purposes
• Adhere to radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and remain current with evolving imaging technology

Schedule:

• 5x8 day shifts, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• No on-call responsibilities

Compensation and Duration:

• Weekly pay: $3,128
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York State
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
