CT Technologist PET/CT Tech Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC UR Imaging @ River Rd in Rochester, NY. This is an 89-day contract beginning December 7, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $3,432.

Schedule & Environment

• Monday through Friday, 5x8 rotating shifts
• Choice of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• No weekends, no on-call, and no holidays required

Core Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures with proper techniques based on patient age and ability
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice
• Analyze imaging results and take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures as needed
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and applicable regulations
• Monitor patient condition continually and report changes in status as appropriate
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• CT certification and PET/CT experience
• ARRT - CT certification
• NMTCB - CT certification
• Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the NMTCB or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with NM certification by the ARRT
• New York State license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Preferred knowledge in GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
